The ProSiebenSat.1 data organization consolidates the data of the group to make them available for the development of new Business Intelligence and Machine Learning products. 
We at "AI Products" are an interdisciplinary and international team within the data organisation. Together we develop and operate IT applications for the entire ProSiebenSat.1 Group using artificial intelligence within a state-of-the-art technology stack. Our mission is to help our colleagues to get the most value from AI/Machine Learning initiatives by improving efficiency and effectiveness across all our business units.

What you can expect in this role

• As Data Science & AI Intern you will learn the fundamentals required for a successful career as Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer
• You will be joining one of our project teams focused on building machine learning products to solve real business challenges
• You will develop productive machine learning applications on a petabyte sized data lake using practices such as Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, ETL Pipelines and Model Development and Deployment on our state-of-the-art AI/ML Cloud-Platform
• You will improve your analytical skills through Data Analysis with SQL and Spark on distributed systems as well as through model selection and training using modern frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.)
• Teamwork and your personal development matter to us – you will be closely mentored by our experienced team and get extensive coaching
• Depending on your performance you can join us as a permanent employee after your internship

Your essential experience and education

• You are in the final stages of your master studies in a technical or natural science related discipline or have just graduated
• Ideally, you have already used your programming skills (Bash, Python or Java) in software development, and you have first experiences in cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) or Machine Learning
• You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics, communicate proactively and are enthusiastic about new technologies
• You have a very good command of English. Knowledge of German is considered a plus
