What you can expect in this role

  • Drive strategic HR leadership by developing and executing HR strategies in collaboration with the MDs to foster operational excellence and sales growth, shaping a diverse and inclusive organizational culture, and leading change management initiatives
  • Oversee talent acquisition and management by leading the recruitment process to attract top talent, implementing effective onboarding programs, and developing succession planning strategies
  • Foster employee development and engagement by designing learning and development programs, cultivating a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, and leading performance management systems
  • Ensure operational excellence by streamlining HR processes to improve efficiency and monitoring HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR strategies
  • Ensure compliance and policy development by developing and maintaining HR policies to ensure compliance and collaborating with the works council to develop HR solutions that address employee needs and comply with legal requirements
  • Manage budget management effectively by planning and managing the HR department's budget in alignment with strategic priorities

Your essential experience and education

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) combined with 5+ years of senior HR management experience (e-commerce/online business a plus)
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire teams, drive organizational change, and foster a positive, collaborative environment
  • Strategic thinker with operational expertise in HR processes and proficiency in data analytics for workforce planning and decision-making
  • Advanced knowledge of employment and worker council laws, compliance standards, and best practices in HR management, including experience in negotiating and collaborating with works councils
  • Results-driven and experienced people manager with entrepreneurial spirit and a hands-on attitude
