For our internal IT team we are looking for an IT Support Specialist (f/m/d) in Berlin, who has already gained their first experience in IT troubleshooting as well as setting up hardware, to become the main point of contact for all the internal users. The successful candidate is expected to be in the office twice per week to look after inventory management, hardware reception, and other relevant-to-the-job tasks.

What you can expect in this role

• You are going to be supporting users for all systems and programs across the Virtual Minds ecosystem, such as maintaining users, groups, and distribution lists.
• You will be responsible for troubleshooting, documentation of disruptions and inquiries, along with authorization management in Windows, MacOS, and Linux environments.
• You are going to be setting up necessary systems and equipment in the office, such as PCs, printers, storage, and software and look after all IT Asset Management topics including receiving hardware packages in the office.
• You will be the one to conduct error analysis and tshare the findings with your manager.

Your essential experience and education

• First experience in technical support, service desk, or similar position.
• Very good knowledge of high availability IT systems and the evaluations of IT infrastructure in high-performance computing.
• Exposure to Microsoft Administration (win server/client, active directory, MS365).
• Experience with Atlassian stack and administration.
• Familiarity with networks, active directory, DNS, DHCP IPV4.
• A solutions-oriented mindset and an eagerness to keep on learning on the job.
• Ability to communicate efficiently in both English and German.
